The achievement highlights the factory’s manufacturing capabilities as a regional production hub and a key export base serving right-hand-drive markets worldwide. It also underscores Thailand’s strategic role in supporting CHANGAN’s transformation from “a globalizing brand” into “a world-class automotive industry leader.”
Within just one year of commencing operations, CHANGAN Automobile Rayong Factory has successfully produced two key new energy vehicle models, the DEEPAL S05 and the NEVO Q05, reaching a cumulative production volume of 20,000 units. This accomplishment reflects the capabilities of Thai talent, the factory’s advanced intelligent manufacturing technologies, and CHANGAN’s commitment to strengthening Thailand’s position as a regional center for new energy vehicle production.

Over the past year, the factory has played a vital role in supporting CHANGAN’s growth in Thailand while contributing to the development of the country’s new energy vehicle industry. The facility has helped create more than 30,000 jobs throughout the domestic supply chain and facilitated the transfer of advanced technologies and innovation from China to Thai talent.
The DEEPAL S05, CHANGAN’s first locally produced model in Thailand and a key hero product, has earned strong recognition and a positive response among Thai consumers for its futuristic design, intelligent driving technologies, and advanced electric mobility solutions tailored to modern lifestyles. Building on this success, CHANGAN NEVO Q05 is the second model to roll off CHANGAN’s Thailand production line. As a new-generation intelligent electric SUV, it combines smart technology, exceptional comfort, and practical electrified mobility, making every journey smarter and easier. Since its launch on May 28th, the CHANGAN NEVO Q05 has achieved 2,200 bookings in just one week. This reflects the warm welcome from thai customers.
